Information we use

We use a random browser identifier to apply the daily reading limit and connect private readings to the browser that created them. Your journal, reading questions, selected cards, and constellation history may be stored in your browser. Completed readings may also be stored on our server so you can return to their private URLs.

When personalized guidance is available, we send your reading question, selected cards, spread positions, card pattern, and your zodiac sign when you have provided a birth date to OpenAI to generate the reflection. We do not send your name, email address, raw birth date, journal, payment details, or browser identifier with that request.

Essential cookies and browser storage

Essential first-party cookies and local browser storage keep your account session, reading access, journal, preferences, and daily limit connected. These are needed for the product to work as expected. We do not use advertising cookies or sell information collected through cookies.

Birth date and horoscope choices

If you enter a birth date, it is saved in a first-party browser cookie so we can remember your zodiac sign. Horoscope sign, focus, and day are used to retrieve the requested sky note. We do not send your birth date or reading questions to product analytics.

Accounts and payments

If you create an account, we store your verified email with your private reading identity. Sign-in links are single-use, expire after 15 minutes, and are stored only as one-way hashes. Stripe processes payments and provides us with subscription status, billing email, customer and subscription identifiers, and limited transaction details. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits, routes, performance, and broad product events such as starting or completing a reading. These providers may process device, browser, approximate location, page, and cookie or similar technical information to provide aggregate reports. Our product events use categories and counts; they do not include typed questions, birth dates, card names, journal text, email addresses, or payment details. You can change your choice at any time.

Service providers

We rely on service providers for hosting, databases, analytics, email delivery, horoscope sourcing, and payment processing. They receive only the information needed to perform those services and handle it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and control

You can clear locally saved journal entries from the Journal. Some server records, subscription records, and transaction records may remain for security, service continuity, legal, or accounting purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion through our support page; available rights depend on where you live.

Security and age

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. TaroTory is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new date on this page.
